General buying tips for headphones- as I have a lot of headphones from different places, here is my take on how to save money on such purchases. Massdrop- good for collaborations- hd6xx hd6xx akg7xx koss esp95x, these are the best value because they mimic or improve on existing models for generally half or less of the MSRP. Then you also get things like special sales where massdrop pricing is lower than Amazon for example, but you have to wait. Sweetwater, zz sounds, crutchfield, headphones.com, audio46, hifi heaven, Amazon warehouse deals, adorama, thomann USA,: all these places to bstock, open box or used. Generally the open box or bstock carry the full warranty, while the used carry 6 month, however Amazon warehouse is just 30 day. I have saved 10-30% off doing this. Also the music type stores and headphones.com have credit offers often at zero percent for up to 48 months. The best deal I found was adorama through Amazon, the he560v2 (adorama exclusive) for $200, including balanced xlr cable, excellent plus condition. Hope this helps.

ukmichaeldavidanother example. on buydig.com you can buy the beyerdynamic T1 for $999 or $899 (black edition), but for $849 you get the T1 and the beyer impacto DAC/Amplifier for $849, which is a $300 item. So you get $1300 MSRP for $849. Quite a deal, I got one. https://www.buydig.com/shop/product/E3BEYT1GEN2CHR/BeyerDynamic-T1-Second-Generation-Stereo-Headphone-w-Impacto-DACHeadphone-Amplifier

ukmichaeldavidGood lookin' out. Just purchased a DT 770 Pro 80 Ohm at full price on Amazon. I waited a day too long because it *was* at 137. None of the places you listed came up in my search for a decent price so I'll be sure to bookmark those for future use.

sidn3yYup it is a lottery sometimes. At times you can find a higher ohm version for less too. Like the 250 or 600 depending on the model. Beach camera and also focus sometimes have really good beyer deals. Also some of these stores have lower prices on their Ebay storefronts.

ukmichaeldavidOh and one more place I found for refurbished sennheiser is blinq- you get a 30 day warranty, on their ebay page you can get 1 year square trade warranties. see this example. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Sennheiser-HD-800-S-Reference-Headphone-System-Black-506911-/401719228647?_trksid=p2349526.m4383.l4275.c10#viTabs_0

sidn3yHave you ever used camelcamelcamel.com? It tracks the prices of everything sold by or through Amazon. You can get an email notification when the price of an item falls below a price that you set.
