In all honesty, I really don't think Drop is the place to sell super niche and very high price tag items... that is more of a specialist's store's place.
If they left this drop up for the whole year, maybe they'd sell 1 or 2... but there has to be more incentive to make people jump on these types of items within the short buying window offered on this site, else it's a waste of effort to create these offerings instead of putting that time towards more mainstream offerings IMHO.
@Drop , I love your site but please try to focus on products that are more suitable to the "Mass"es.
I really dig this hobby, but sometimes I fill disgusted with it. Usually it’s from seeing a power conditioner with a 4 or 5 digit price tag, but this seems just as wrong to me
RedHotEminemA $20,000 watch tells time, so does a $20 watch. A $250,000 car can get you to work, so can a $2500 car. I'm certainly not the target market for this type of gear but it in no way impacts me or makes me feel a damn thing. If you feel that way about audio there is a whole world of products that should also impact you the same way.
RedHotEminemThe craftsmanship on this product is truly outstanding, and yes, it's a different category of Hi-Fi, but it's truly more reasonable than hundreds of products out there in this industry.
This cartridge outclasses anything out there, regardless of price, and is hand made with extreme minutia and craftsmanship.
