another proprietary connector? WTF, AT?
AT has been using their a2dc connectors for a few years ..... but yea another proprietary connector lol
I own a pair of the outstanding r70x which AT also felt the need to "innovate" with the connectors. twist lock with proprietary wiring scheme...oof. took a while to source the connectors.
A2DC is pretty easy to find and is much better than MMCX. They're all over aliexpress.
i think they just wanted their cables HC213,313 etc to sell being the inly a2dc cables but it just didnt work out lol. They perform wayyy below their prices and ended up on Drop eventually. Aftermarket cables came out later anyways.
ha. at least they're easy to get. I think I'm going to pass on these...
More secure, doesn't wear out and break like mmcx, if it does break it will be the cable side, so your iems don't get borked.
I can see it now; they look pretty solid. Looks like AT is the only manufacturer using them. dammit, maybe I do have to try these IEMs now. heh.
