Okay, I'll admit to being mildly interested in these. I do think that they should've been offered at 50% off but I'd be somewhat willing to concede on the price since they're a relatively new product. The controls being on the left cup has me taken aback a little. Very disconcerting as I'm used to them being on the right cup in all my other bt headphones.
My experience with bt 5.0 in other products has been very good. They'd have to be more enjoyable (Notice that I said, "enjoyable". Being "better" does not always mean more enjoyable!) than my current budget bt OE cans which are JBL E55BT Quincy Editions. The JBL's have been rock solid for a year & a half. Very smooth & tube-like with good tonal balance & only falling behind in detail. But who cares about that when riding MTA or being out & about in NYC?
I need another headphone like I need a hole in the head, but still...…. :(
