The audio quality on this was decent but there is an awful amount of crosstalk. Meaning game audio is transferred over to the mic so if you're talking to friends and an explosion happens that sound will transfer to the mic and your friends will hear the sound echoed. This is caused by poor shielding on the wires. This happens even with the mic muted unfortunately. Mic quality is good compared to some other gaming headsets.

Would have considered it if it didn't have that cringey as fuck "premium gaming headset" printed on it. Ironically makes the headset extremely tacky

How does this compare to the Sennheiser PC37x? I am not too impressed with it and want a replacement with a mic. I use the AKG K7XX when I play solo, which is fantastic.

jackbladesToo bad that review doesn't mention anything about positional audio within games (footsteps, environmental effects, etc.). As a gaming headset, this is probably one of the more important features to analyze. The review does mention sound quality, though, and while bass level preference can be subjective, the hearing tinny sounds at high volumes is not. I typically love Audio-Technica's sound signature, so it's bit disappointing to hear about the tinny sound. :(
