Good speakers, but as several have noted based on personal listening and the frequency response graphs, Audio Engine seemed to have artificially boosted the 160-180 Hz range for what ever reason, thus making them seem muddy in some cases. This can be fixed by equalizing 170 Hz with -5 dB, revealing lovely speakers that compete with speakers of a slightly higher price range, which considering their small size, is impressive.
