Massdrop seems it would do better if it was targeting more expensive items where money is saved, not on items where savings + times equals nothing. Like receivers, "quality speakers, hi-fi, floor standing", and I'm talking the high end receivers where they're $3000+ which with massdrop if you can get them under amazons $2400 price and save $300-500 than this massdrop makes much more sense. But it makes no sense on minuscule savings...

It won't work, first, the $300-$500 discount requires a lot of buyers, and second, there's VERY FEW buyers in the market for upscale items, and third, even FEWER of them will be shopping on some obscure websites like MD (sorry but it's not exactly mainstream ;) ), and fourth, people who buy expensive stuff, don't put up with long waits. Don't believe me - well, prove me wrong then, organize a groupbuy for a $3000-$5000 item and see how it goes :D
