I purchased this recently directly from manufacturer. Got with 10% off coupon for $170. Originally intended to use it with my phone via USB OTG, but unfortunately it doesn't work. Was gonna return it because of that, but as I started listening to it, it's probably the best DAC I own/have owned. Now I've never heard a high end >$500 DAC before, but the list of DAC that imo the D3 is better than include the ODAC, Schiit Modi, Firestone Audio Spitfire HD, and Woo Audio WA7 DAC. It's actually a significant jump in detail retrieval compared to those. Now I'm using the D3 as both my primary home DAC, and I take it to work everyday as well.
