Power output for this amp is stated at 22 watts RMS/40 Watts peak per channel...@ 4 or 8 ohms? Will the Audioengine N22 be capable of driving loads down to ~ 4 ohms without fail and/or having the protection circuitry kick in?

The N22 is an efficient design and works great with any 4, 6, or 8 ohm passive speakers, including the Audioengine P4! " this is off the website. but i cant find the power into 4 vs 8 ohms. The audioengine P4 speakers they speak of are a 4 ohm speaker. hope that helps
