Every passive speaker system needs an amplifier, and the N22 connects easily to whatever system you’re using. The two inputs (RCA and 1/8 in mini-jack) can be paired with a stereo, computer, or iPod and a subwoofer can be added through the variable line out. If you need to charge your smart phone while in use, attach it to the USB power port. To control the N22, just flick the on/off switch and adjust the volume knob. Though the electronics are advanced, the controls remain elegantly simple.
