Functioning beautifully as a bolster to your home theater system, the Audioengine S8 Premium Powered Subwoofer features an 8-inch custom woofer that fires downwards, delivering precise bass response with minimal distortion—even at high volumes. The woofer itself has been encased in hand-crafted wood cabinets with thick, internally braced MDF to eliminate frequency muddying vibrations and to deliver a sturdy outer shell. The S8 pairs easily with wireless systems (like many of Audioengine’s receivers)— and thanks to quarter-inch and RCA inputs, it’ll work nicely in a wired setup as well. You’ll also find rear-mounted controls for Crossover Phase adjustments and overall volume so you can customize the performance to your needs. Plus, thanks to sleek pointed legs and a beautiful attention to design, the S8 looks just as commanding as it sounds.
