Is there any latency? I.e. can I use this with my TV audio out and will the be any problems with audio/video sync?

ScottMThe tech specs on the manufacturer's product page claim <20ms latency. According to http://www.pixelinstruments.tv/articles.htm, it takes >40ms delay in the audio for the a/v sync error to be noticeable. Assuming no other significant audio delays in you system, it *might* work.
