Hey you know what would be nice? An actual USB-C portable dac amplifier.. Because you know.. outside of Apple.. that's what people use :)

ShazManThis so so weird to see, because most of the Chi-Fi stuff IS USB-C. We Apple folks can’t always get a great solution.

Rowdy2026No, I mean it’s nice it HAS lightning as an option. Many Chi-Fi dongles and DAC-amps are USB-C only. It was a response to whoever complained it was lightning.

disastermouseCan't say that's been my experience. Every marketing email I've ever gotten from Drop in the last year for these portable DAC amps has been lightning.. but it is what it is haha. Thankfully Apple is being forced in multiple markets to stop their ridiculous dongle war and get on with the times. Hopefully sooner or later we can all just use one standard connector.

ShazManOn Drop, that’s probably accurate. I’ve been into Chi-Fi for a while, though, and a lot of the products offered elsewhere have a heavy USB-C/Android focus.
