hello hello there, im on with this, i have been talking in head-fi forums about getting for the first time a good tube DAC, so maybe you could help me here cause it says that it will work with hps from 30 to 600 ohms but the impedance output does not respect the 1/8th rule with my headphones, i have audio technica a900x which are 42 ohms, please help!! and do you think this is as cheap as i will ever see the aune? cause i can wait till black friday but im not that sure that i will find it cheaper than this 120 bucks.
thank you

mikepotThis is the cheapest you will find the Aune, yes. The A900x does NOT need an amp, although it will benefit from the DAC.

mikepotYou don't need an amp for your a900x, but this amp will provide much better clarity, dynamic headroom, and honestly if you want an amp I don't see why you wouldn't invest so you can use many different cans. No, you won't find it cheaper than this anywhere or ever. I love mine and only wish I'd found it sooner. At $119 this is an absolute STEAL.

Acknown3well yes, my interest is completely in the DAC area but at the same time it only has one jack port so the impedance there is the same right?
