I spoke on the live chat earlier, they responded really quick and had all the information I needed. Despite being 116th in queue I was unlucky. I ordered a black unit and I'm international, apparently they have no more black units in stock. Hopefully massdrop will have the next batch from Aune sometime next week. I don't mind waiting a bit longer I just can't wait to get my hands on the T1. If you still have unanswered issues I really recommend the live chat!

TiggyDid you ask them how long international shipping usually takes?, And when the new black ones are coming in?

CalvinXI was told hopefully massdrop would have the next batch in stock next week but no promises. Depending which country you live in shipping times vary. I haven't been told how long shipping will be but I wouldn't be surprised if it took over a week, don't take my word for it though!

CalvinXWhen I spoke to a Massdrop rep yesterday they told me to expect 2-3 weeks for international shipping (Canada) through UPS mail innovations.
Big surprise when it arrived today. That was less than 5 business days, and there were zero problems at the border. Your mileage may vary, especially since I'm on the west coast and live very close to the border, but Massdrop seems to have outdone themselves with this order.

JatoJust curious if you got charged duty? Canada Post is charging me $25 here in Ontario, which isn't too bad but still annoying.

GCSMI didn't get charged this time. My experience with shipments coming through USPS to Canada Post is that not every package goes through a full customs check. Those that don't have a good chance of slipping through without duty or taxes. One of the reasons I prefer USPS to UPS/Fedex/DHL. It seems to be random though, I just got lucky this time.

JatoYeah that is true. My delivery notice card said that I owed $108.48, I called Canada Post and they said that was wrong and gave me the correct amount of~25. I'm still confused at how the mailman could mess up by that much.

JatoI was just coming on here to check if anyone had time frames for international to Canada. Now I'm hoping mine will be here sooner than expected, that would be a bonus.

MarkDoes this custom tax thing also apply to countries like Australia?
CalvinXEvery country has their own policies, Australia seems to be similar to Canada. Most of the European countries seem to charge tax on basically all packages.

CalvinXI believe that for Australia shipments valued under $1000 shouldn't get charged any import taxes. My T1 shipped to Australia didn't attract any extra costs. The customs wbsite should have a more definitive outline of what will get taxed.
