I bought one of these about 6 months ago, and I love it. Then suddenly, a couple of weeks ago, it developed a loud hum in both the headphone socket and the speakers. I tested it away from the computer and with a new tube, and the problem remains. I'd like to send it back for repair, but I am not sure where I need to send it. Any suggestions?
I too had ran into some problem with this unit. A week ago the transformer suddenly produced an audible loud hum, loud enough to wake me up at 2am and let me tell you I sleep like a dead baby. After that I found that the inside of the transformer is actually not secured properly because the components inside of it have a fair bit of room to move around. The loud hum went away after I gave the transformer a light shake. A few days ago the unit started making loud distortion/crackle that isn't part of the song I was listening to. I tried it with 2 different set of headphones and the crackle was still there. The crackle went away if I unplug the power cord from the back of the unit. Is this normal for the Aune T1? How would I go to send it back for a replacement/repair?
@chickenfishyyThat doesn't sound very reassuring :(
