I just received my amplifier and I'm disappointed to report an intermittent high-pitched oscillating sound, even with no input plugged in. It sounds similar to the electromagnetic interference you hear when you put a GSM cell phone near a speaker sometimes.
It does not vary with volume either. Did I get a dud? Anybody else experience this? How does the return process work? ( Is there a return process? or just manufacturer's warranty?
Edit: It sounds like this actually may have indeed just been interference from my phone. Interestingly, my friend's phone has quite a bit different signature when we were debugging this.

jakinneGlad you solved the problem!
For future reference, we would handle the warranty and replace your unit instead of you having to ship it back to China etc.

jakinneYes do not put the T1 near a tv or phone or any other device that might bleed energy it can and will likely cause it every time. Sorry I didn't see this earlier could've saved you some time probably. Also people who are new to tubes, you have to let them warm up some before listening you can get noise if you listen straight away. 20 minutes is best if you want to hear it properly. Also 100 hours of burn in on tubes will make a sound difference too.
