A New Favorite

The third and newest generation of one of the most popular value DAC/amps on the market, the Aune T1 SE MK3 features the compact size and solid build of its predecessors, along with a number of meaningful upgrades. Equipped with the latest XMOS USB design, this version uses a DSD1793 DAC to decode multiple formats up to 24-bit/192kHz, plus DSD64. For the output buffer, you’ll find the Russian-made EH6922 tube, which delivers warm, rich, and natural sound. Finally, an adjustable three-terminal gain control allows you to drive various low- and high-impedance headphones up to 600 ohms.

Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of the 110V or 220V DAC/Amp. The Gold Lion tube is not included on this drop.

Versatile Machine

On its solid aluminum housing, this all-in-one solution features audio-in and audio-out functions through the RCA ports. These let you use the Aune T1 SE MK3 as a dedicated DAC with active speakers (like the Audioengine A5+) or a dedicated amplifier with a different DAC (like the Matrix M-Stage DAC). Because this DAC/amp uses the ubiquitous EH6922 tube, you can easily customize your sound through tube rolling. Want more kick in your bass? Nab a NOS Amperex 6922 from the ‘60s. How about more attack on the high end? Grab a gold-pin Tesla 6922. Plus, since the Aune T1 SE MK3 uses only one tube, you won’t have to mess around with matched pairs.
