Does anyone else have an opinion about the difference between the Aune T1 SE and the Schiit Jotunheim? I have a Sennheiser HD 6xx (basically the same as the HD 650) and wanted to know if there would be a big difference in terms of sound. I would prefer the Schiit because of the low maintenance/maintenance cost, that's why I'm asking if the Aune would be better enough for me to want the headache of having to replace the tube from time to time and being more careful not to let anything brake the tube.
Thanks in advance.

There is zero maintenance costs on the Aune. The tube isn't used directly in the circuit, it doesn't even get very warm to touch. I've had my T1 for almost 5 years and haven't had any need to change the tube, and it's on 24/7.
Jot (on balanced) would have slightly more power than the Aune, and would give better bass performance. Aune would sound better and more versatile if you weren't power capped, and better sounding watt for watt. The Jot will set you back $500 if you were to get the DAC add-on, is the marginal sonic improvements really worth $320? Only you can decide that.

I'm in the same boat as you, except my 6xx's haven't come yet. I was about to pull the trigger on the Jot but decided on the Audio gd NFB-11. Check them out.
