Mine just arrived, although the details don't say it comes with a power adapter, it does. It comes with a Mean Well GST18B09-P1J, a 2-prong 9V 2A switching adapter. Since I read the discussions here before it arrived, I was scared it didn't come with an adapter so I ordered a Mean Well GST18A09-P1J from Jameco, which is the same as the one bundled except it also has a ground prong, I'm interested to see if that would make any difference in sound. I'll probably write up a review soon.
I didn't recognize the adapter is not included. How and where can I get DC power adapter?? Even after I get this more than 2 months from now, should I look for the right adapter?
Let me get this straight... The new X1S has a 9038 instead of 9018, but doesn't fix the mid-volume saber distortion, still has the same high OI, and doesn't even ship with DC power adapter??
I see some people upset that the output impendance is ~10ohms. As a beginner audiophile, what's this mean? That IEMS and low-power headphones will be too loud?
How does one fix that ? I have sure 425s and they sounds like trash using this. Everything sounds great with m50x's ( 38ohms ) but the iems are (32 ohms )
