NarrativeHi! I have the X7s too. I've been searching for such question for days if not weeks. In short it is enough but it would be even better if you have the DT880 600ohm balanced so you can connect it through the balanced port, which is more powerful than using the unbalanced. But using the unbalanced is okay too but don't forget to set the gain on high on the bottom controls of X7s. I recommend you to check a video "The Beyerdynamic DT 880 (600 Ohms) Does Not Need The Power You Were Told" where the X7s is also reviewed.

Quick question : What type of 1/4'' connector is it ? Balanced 1/4'' ?
The reason I'm asking is I'm trying to use this with my CA Atlas. I already have a 2.5mm MMCX Balanced cable. I could either use a male 4 pin XLR to female 2.5mm balanced adapter (https://www.ebay.ca/itm/1pcs-10CM-MZ-I-4-pin-XLR-Balanced-Male-to-2-5mm-Trrs-Female-Balanced-Cable-Audio/113855606867?hash=item1a8252b053:g:K60AAOSw6QJdVqwo) or I need to find a 3.5mm balanced MMCX cable with 6.35mm balanced adapter.

Using DHL to ship to Europe you have a Big chance to pay a lot more. I had to pay an extra 60€ for the taxes.

leoiseauUnfortunately anything shipped from the outside of EU is put into a risk of being taken by customs department.

Update:
Just got a shipment notification. I’m sure from their warehouse to Nc will be the normal eight to twelve days by pony express (FedEx) if all goes well.

MusicLoverToo bad that I cancelled two days ago. Wonder why they do not have any transparency on what is going on for a monthly long order. Really disappointed!

michael.yeI was going to cancel but forgot to do so and then I got the shipping notification. Hopefully it will be worth the wait. If you still want it you might try emailing Support. They might be able to reinstate the order. Now I need to decide on ordering the R2R Dac as I’m seeing some good reviews. Not sure if the wallet can handle another purchase

Sort of silly that drop doesnt give you daily updates on where your product is or what caused the delay. You guys screwed up, now fix it. Or at the very least tell us whats going on.

Yes. Unfortunately I got one earlier today too. Seems odd but this is turning out to be the new normal with Drop now. Disappointed but not surprised.

hey guys, just 2 quick questions.
- When i received the amp, i noticed a rattling sound when i turn it upside down. Is this normal?
- When I plug in headphones, the preamp signal doesnt cut off like other amps I have. So the output signal comes out of my speakers and my headphones, find this quite annoying.

Thanks, Mindhead1. One of the reasons for getting the X7s was it has a "balanced" headphone out. I prefer balanced cables when possible. Plus I heard good things about the X7s. I wanted a good amp for another room but didn't want to swap my balanced cables to SE and back and forth. Plug and play so to speak.

DigimortalI have had the X7S for over a year. I am very happy with it. I don't think I could ask for anything better to drive my 4xx and 6xx. I feed it from the X1S and it makes for a nice looking stack on my desk.
