Thanks for the update. Can you explain why we are charged for the item more than a month before you plan to ship it? That seems like a long time.

goldogmomRather than buying from a store that has already placed a bulk order and is holding stock to sell to you, Massdrop collects orders and payment up front that funds a bulk order of exactly what they need with little to no backstock. This is less risky for them because they already know that what they're buying in bulk is bought and paid for/sold. It also saves them money because they don't have to store large quantities of backstock in a warehouse. Because they've saved money and have lower risk, they're able to offer lower prices than a lot of other retailers. The "price" of getting those savings is that you have to wait for the bulk order to get to Massdrop and give them time to break that down into individual packages before it's sent out to you.
