Is it suitable for embroidery work using Brother SE400 and the likes?

CarmageddonNot sure about specific machines, but my machine service technician always recommends Aurifil. Among the many uses listed at the Aurifil site, it says this about Machine embroidery : "Love it! Great results every time. Use Mako 50wt in the bobbin as well, or your regular bobbin thread – in which case tighten the top tension a little. Use a Microtex 80/12 needle".

CarmageddonAurifil Thread as described here isn't what I'd use for embroidery; it doesn't have a shiny finish to it like most embroidery thread. The 40 wt. would be better suited for machine quilting and the 50 wt. would be better used for piecing or machine quilting. Hope this helps!
