The Aurora 88 Nera Unica demonstrator is a revival of a legendary 1950s design: the first pen to be exhibited at the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan, Italy. This edition features a subtle matte black body, trim, and coating on the solid 14-karat-gold nib to give it a refined look and feel.
Italian for “dawn,” Aurora was founded in Turin at the end of the First World War. Indeed, it was the dawn of a new era for battle-weary Italy. That was 1919. Today, the company still occupies the factory it was founded in. And while much has changed over the last 100 years, the quality of Aurora’s pens has not.
