Italian for “dawn,” Aurora was founded in Turin at the end of the first World War. Nearly 100 years later, the company still occupies the same factory it was founded in. And while much has changed over the years, the quality of Aurora’s pens has not. A reflection of current fashion trends, the Ipsilon fountain pen has a fresh and casual feel. The resin body has a polished finish that’s complemented by the chrome trim. The cap on the Ipsilon has a rounded bullet shape and a chrome band that runs around the top and attaches to the clip. Looking for a pen with a premium feel? Opt for the Ipsilon Lacquer, which has a multi-hue laquer finish, a chrome-plated tip, and a 14-karat solid gold nib that’s rhodium plated.
