Torque App (http://torque-bhp.com/) plus a generic 10 dollar bluetooth OBD2 scanner yields FAR SUPERIOR results for 1/4 of the price. --- for android users only

evevI agree that it's much cheaper, and allows you to access the same data/information on the ECU. I used Torque and a $25 or so OBDII adaptor on my 02 Mitsubishi for quite a while - it worked okay, but it didn't "just work." It always took setup, slurped (phone) battery, and the OBD II dongle died completely during a particularly cold winter (cheap Chinese parts).
My buddy has had an Automatic since launch, and after recently seeing the UI and seeing how it sorta just needed less love in order to give you sensible data I'm pretty sure I'm going to grab one of these, as it really seems to be "set it and forget it," and it'll give me some nice insights about my driving patterns, gas usage, etc.
If there was a SaaS solution for piping raw data from Torque or an OBD II scanner into a web app, I would totally do that over this. This seems to pretty much be that, but without the recurring software cost :)
If someone has more experience using both a random scanner and an Automatic, I'd love to hear your thoughts before I jump on this in the next day.
