The Gen 2 pairs well better than I expected, I ended up turning all the beeps off. So it pairs when it pairs (meaning it does not have to be paired all the time and with the sound off I am not aware of when it is pairing), but when I go to the app at the end of the day I can see a recap of my trips. The only complaint I have is its driving scoring system, there are instances where you have to accelerate a little more than usual or break to adapt to someone else in front of you. Besides that it works great! I would recommend this to anyone wanting to keep track of their vehicle a little more closely or wants to have a little competition with a friend.
