AVI-8 AV-4044 Hawker Hurricane Quartz Watch

Inspired by the British single-seat fighter aircraft of the same name, the Hawker Hurricane is at once rugged and agile, with all the pilot vibes you’d hope for in a typical AVI-8 watch. Like looking into a jet engine, the dial is technical yet balanced. One of its most intriguing aspects is the day tracker which spans from 9 to 3 o’clock in a string of dots, the red one showing the current day. The combination of Arabic numerals and lumed stick markers makes for good legibility, even in dark conditions. Tipped in red, the seconds hand is easy to see as well. Like any good aircraft, the watch is also made from strong materials—more specifically, a stainless steel case and mineral crystal. It’s also water resistant to 50 meters.
