Are the keys solid or plated? If each cap contains 6 grams of pure material, their meltdown value exceeds the total cost of the set.

If you look at the spec sheet in the picture library, it seems like the 4 most expensive materials (gold, platinum, silver, rhodium) are electroplated rather than cnc engraved solid elements like the rest of them.

Apart from Au, Pt, Rh and Ag, they are all solid elements that is CNC machined. The ones listed are plated with the elements.

Are the Cu and Ag keycaps (copper & silver) clear coated to prevent them from getting a patina/ slowly corroding (oils from fingers would accelerate this process)?

Awekeys has applied thick layers of antioxidant protection coatings on the surface of each keycap, so the keycaps should be fine with daily use, and should not corrode over time.

Why are there 2 distinct Copper ones, with different colors ?
Brass is NOT the same as Copper, it is an alloy and not in the periodic table.

I will definitely be leaving brass unused. It does shed massive doubt regarding the purity of the other ones though.
