"Elegantly Fierce"? Is there any setting in which having this written on one's KB would NOT be embarrassing?

Hate to step on massdrop here but the corsair with cherry mx switches is a better keyboard from a more trusted brand imo. https://tinyurl.com/y9jfmcqs - that being said, I like the style of this keyboard more, I just wish it had cherry-mx switches.

The brown switches give a tactile feel without the click from a blue. More like a mix between the red and blue. And actually based on a lot of reviews, Kailh makes a better brown switch than Cherry MX. Cherry used to be top on everything yeah, but Kailh redid everything not too long ago and the redo has gotten them a lot of nice reviews on their switches.
Also I love my Corsair keyboard but I'm out researching because I dislike that Corsair doesn't use default key sizes. Any keycap sets you get won't properly fit the bottom row and that's very disappointing.

Just a fyi, B&H have this exact keyboard for 69.99 right now. 10$ cheaper. I thought Massdrop was supposed to be cheaper??

I recently purchased a Zalman ZM-K900M RGB Keyboard with Kailh Brown switches for $50 shipped from Newegg.
I love everything about the keyboard except the Kailh Brown switches. They are different. As others have mentioned the tactile bump is quite subtle. You won't notice it while typing or gaming. The switches also require more force than Cherry MX Browns. I noticed this first while gaming. Holding down keys for extended periods was causing me some finger fatigue. I also noticed this when typing for long periods.
My Kailh Browns require 55 grams to actuate and 75 grams to bottom out. The forces are almost identical to Cherry MX Blacks. To me Kailh Browns feel like Cherry MX Blacks with a small tactile bump.
I could see really liking Kailh Browns if you want a switch that is stiffer than Cherry MX Browns but lighter than Cherry MX Clears. Remember this is my opinion and as always everyone has different preferences.

I'm pretty sure matias use a design inspired by alps.

'Matias' switches aren't special, but that alps switches they are based on are. Nothing compares to alps switches, and it is something you will actually need to experience to understand fully.

Whelp, I've owned this keyboard for less than 2 years and already I'm having switch failure (Kalih Brown). Can't recommend it. Just shell out the extra cash and get something that's truly great, like the Ducky Shine 6, etc.

Also these switches are not original Cherry MX switches. You can tell from the fact that the word "cherry" is not mentioned. And you can get a mechanical keyboard WITH original cherry MX switches for around this price out there. Massdrop only seems to give good deals. Many times it's basically a clickbait rather than anything else. Group buys should show more buying power to offer good price and true free shipping!

It literally says in the description here that they're kailh brown switches, noone is claiming they are cherry mx.

Can people on massdrop not read or something? It's 78 for the red led version, this one being sold by massdrop for 85 dollars is the rgb one, which is currently 140 on amazon. If you want to get the red one through massdrop, it's 65 dollars, so still cheaper than amazon.
