Don't be dissuaded because this is under Tech and not Mech Keys. This is a quality RGB mechanical keyboard. I got one for my work desk and I love it. Floating key designs can be a bit noisy, so keep that in mind. I put the clear rubber O-rings on it and that helped a lot.

boot2skullI bought one of these when my Logitech keyboard got so old there were no longer any drivers available for it. Besides, I was getting real sick of the mushy keys. I got the one with red LEDs, and love it. The action is wonderful, and the clicking is just the right volume to let me know I'm typing without being obnoxious. Definitely worth the money. PS: It reminds me of the old IBM 3270 terminal and DEC VT100 terminal keyboards. While not exactly the same, they are close to the IBM M keyboards that everyone loves so much.

LonelydadWhich keyboard and configuration is like the old ink. I’ll order it if you tell me exactly. I’m not a gamer, just miss knowing that I’m actually pressing keys on a keyboard. I need a decent keyboard but don’t want to spend a fortune. tgank you for your help!

Mltv1016I got the Red with brown switches. The only real difference between brown and blue switches is that the brown ones are linear switches, which means that they can make contact without having to be depressed all the way - usually only useful if you are in a real hurry like in gaming, and the blue switches are clicky, which means they have to be depressed all the way to register. Also, since they are 'clicky', they are a little louder than brown switches. As far as the argument between Kailh and Cherry switches, to me it is a matter of religion, i.e. there really isn't much difference as far as performance, but some people just get turned off by anything made in China. I've had my keyboard for most of a year now, and really love it. The keys are just loud enough to let me know I have struck them, and the action is wonderful.

Mltv1016Right after my answer I ran across this page in How to Geek. It should have more than enough info to help you decide.
