I had been wanting to upgrade for a while. I had an old Logitech mechanical keyboard thats somewhere around 7 years old with a limited backlighting color range. I had been waiting for an RGB keyboard to go up for sale here, and the Azio came around. Amazon had tons of reviews saying the keyboard is great. So I got it. Now that I have it, I wont say Im not satisfied with it, I dont regret my purchase, but I can see some people being a little underwhelmed with its RGB variety. It has a few different settings, spectrum cycling mode, all the keys simultaneously cycle through the RGB scale. Color Marquee, basically above, but it comes across from left to right. Wave mode is a sped up version of marquee. And more colors on the keyboard at once. Theres splash mode, which changes color from the center and moves both directions. Finally theres custom, which lets you pick a color for the keyboard. Or individual keys. Whats dissappointing about all of these settings is that the customization is very limited. Theres no color wheel, to choose just that perfect shade you want. The keyboard is definitely capable of it, I see a variety of shades in the spectrum cycle effect. But the keyboard didnt come with any software. Everything is customized on the keyboard itself.
The keys themself arent quiet at all. With my previous keyboard, I often stay on open mic when playing multiplayer games. Because Im a quiet person, and my environment is usually pretty quiet. But now, everyone will complain that I make a lot of noise with typing. So if a noisy keyboard isnt really for you..dont buy. If you like a clacky keyboard, get it. It sounds great.
The above arent complaints, I just know that for a lot of people, these might be dealbreakers.
The build quality feels really great. Theres no flex with the keyboard. The volume knob isnt too loose, so you wont accidentally spin too fast. It also feels very notchy. You can feel every little click. Muting audio is also easily done. Just press down on the dial. It has a play, pause, forward, backward, and stop button. macros. Although..Ive never bothered with them. They have 4 in total. And like the RGB mode, to initiate a macro recording, you press a button on the keyboard.
Overall, for only $90, this keyboard is great.
but getting for $140 like it originally retails for on Amazon..I'd stick with the big name brands.

Critical50I have no idea how the keyboard is really like. It may be great. I do have issue with MD's pricing scheme here which is far from good - especially for a group buy, and especially when in a short google search you can find prices that are better than their "best" price! that's an insult to MD subscribers I think.
