The more I look at this watch, the more I like it--especially compared to the collection of misfit and reject watches presently offered on the site--and it's certainly the least expensive. Everyone needs at least one Quartz watch in their collection and this one would certainly fill that bill. The fact that it's also a chronograph is just icing on the cake. I like the AZ2040.13AH.000 in Chrome with the Brown Crock strap--it's classy, sporty and understated.
Speaking of quartz watches, I just ordered another one myself--should be here Tuesday or Wednesday. If it lives up to it's hype, it might just turn out to be the last chronograph I ever buy (not counting a someday-Speedmaster).
If not, @MarPabl is going to be in a lot of trouble!
I googled it and discovered that Azarro is a French firm whose mens fragrance is called Legend. So I guess this was a gift with the fragrance? The Ronda 5040.D movement is nothing special, but the dial says Swiss Made and it's not terribly ugly/interesting in steel.
dchappleRonda 5040.D (Swiss version) is actually one of the best meca-quartz chrono movements available. But I agree, this particular implementation is nothing special.
Looks like most of the grey market sellers have the watch for $260-ish, one even sub $200
I do wonder what the fit and finish on this watch is like? Anyone ever had one in-hand for a review?
Seems like a pretty good option, for a new watch person or gift
