I bought a set of these in blue and white from Taobao for about $35 shipped (through their own consolidated shipping) and I wouldn't recommend these keycaps at all.
Their double shooting method requires them to have little pieces of plastic bridging separate pieces of a keycap. This results in some sections of the legend to not shine through properly. The following pictures are self explanatory.

It seems like in their pictures the keys Alt, Menu and Shift don't suffer from the same problem as my keycaps. Maybe their batch is an updated one, but the problem is still apparent on their numpad Enter key.
I'd argue that he reason Massdrop's pictures have the Caps Lock LED off is because this problem would be too apparent for their marketing purposes, as the problem is the most obvious on Caps Lock.
To add to this problem, the F keys' and modifier keys' legends are unnecessarily big. Who knows why they decided to center align the F keys' legends and left align the alphanumerics.

I'd also argue that they chose to put the keycaps on a keyboard that doesn't have the F row to hide the hideous F keys. I don't appreciate hiding product defects from customers in this manner.
Edit: I wonder where the $49.99 "MSRP" came from. This set is obviously sold for a lot cheaper by a lot of Taobao vendors.

hhu94I wonder if you could use some angled flush cutters to snip away those plastic bridges and even out the shine through. After the second shot of plastic is injected I would think that the entire legend is fused in place and the bridge is no longer necessary.
I'm debating buying this set with the hope that they don't have the same issue (though you can see the bridges on the gray modifiers) or that I can fix them myself. Any thoughts (hhu94 or others with this set)?

mechanatorI tried scraping them off with a flat head screwdriver to no success. The plastic bridge goes too deep. I scraped so much that that area of the keycap became thinner than the rest of it, and it was still opaque.

Feel like I really got the shaft on this one. As many others have stated, yes the quality on these keycaps is quite poor. Most, if not all of my keycaps, have chipped edges and other misc. broken pieces. The shine through legends on many of the keycaps is poor, often time illegible. My Insert keycap looks like $h!t. To top it all off, the CAPS lock key has an eyesore of a black ink stain on it that you can't miss. I brought this to the attention of Massdrop in August. I agreed to have the CAPS & Insert caps replaced (I figured this was less of a hassle than a full return, plus I didn't have any other spare keycaps to put back on my board at the time). Massdrop stated that they had to find a source for the replacements. Well, 5 months have went by and still nothing from Massdrop. I reached out to them again and requested an exchange for set currently listed (https://www.massdrop.com/buy/133-key-pbt-cherry-keycap-set) and they come back with telling me that I can only return for a full refund. Tssk, tssk Massdrop. This is definitely the way that you lose loyal customers with a long purchase history. Overall, SUPER disappointed and, yes, I will be returning for a full refund

These are just OK. Using them on my K65 to replace the dead ABS stock caps. No complaints with these as I bought them as cheaper alternative to higher quality PBT sets. It's just down to their quality assurance/control. My received sets are pretty clean on the edges, and some caps could do some sanding or clipping, not even the included cheap stock ABS caps are clean from any dings so not fussed about that. The legends on the top R1 navigation cluster is half lit up where the top is fine while the lower bottom of the legend is faint, minor problem. Quality control on the legends isn't the best, a few of the doubleshot legends on the caps are thinner than others, or the doubleshot was not done well. The caps don't have much LED bleed, only faintly which I kinda expected from this price point. Works good with switches that have LEDs mounted top and not bottom. Better than a much cheaper PBT set I own. Got a photo example:

The cheaper PBT cap (alphas only) have pretty bad LED bleed, worse with a board with switch LEDs mounted bottom. The number keys (except 3 and 4) are from this set's drop. LED bleed on the number keys are pretty much non-existence. PBT feel wise, it's more smooth textured, leaning away from a coarser texture. And for sound...I'm just gonna say.....it clacks. This is a general idea in a dark lighting condition:
search
LED bleed is a little more noticeable. More prominent on the red caps. If you look carefully, you can get a better idea of the shine difference with the few stock ABS caps. The brightness level on my board is set at medium. Overall, I'm content, these sets are adequate to replace stock ABS caps. If you're after high quality perfectionist PBT caps, you wouldn't want these, especially if you're picky about quality. But certainly okay to replace any cheap ABS caps and you're not overly fussed on every detailed ding. ISO keys are self-hunted.

thomas.browneThis is because switch for the enter key is oriented differently from the other keys. The LED is on the bottom f the switch so doesn't light it up.

I see that there are some options in the drop down when joining the drop, namely All Black. Could we get some pictures of the all black set? I don't see the black keys on any of the examples. Thanks in advance!

Is the space bar on backward? Or is there a reason for the slope?

A little info and pics I posted about these on reddit about the set I bought off AliExpress a while ago:
https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/4ir869/photos_captors_pbt_backlit_key_caps/
They're made by a company called Captors in China, you can do a Google picture search for 捕获者PBT键帽 (Captors PBT keycaps in Chinese), for better pics of them. I've since ordered 2 more sets and will be ordering a couple more sets here from Massdrop, imho these are the best backlit sets available on the market right now.
They also come in all white, and all black sets, but so far there are only pics of them and and I haven't found them for sale yet:

Edit: Some better pics with the sky blue and white 2x3x4 LED's I'm currently using under them:

Why is it that when a manufacturer decides to make a backlit keycap set they automatically go full retard on the legends? This is better than most but that number row and "Num Lk" kill it for me.

LOL @ people complaining at the font....this basically looks like a better Vortex PBT key set with the number row cut out at the right place to actually shine through. The only thing I kinda don't like are the color alternating F5-F8 keys and Print Screen-Page Break keys. not sure why they did that. Well that and spelled-out Enter and Shift keys.
Besides have you seen the average stock Chinese board key set? (I'm staring at you my Zhuque Teamwolf CIY board...)

DriftMonkeyI wouldn't say better, the only thing that is better is the top number key caps. I'm on the fence about buying it just for the top number key caps. If someone can actually make a PBT key cap set with properly lit number legends in a good set I would buy it.

The grey color looks more like a beige to me. It could just be the lighting, but can someone confirm this? I would totally be interested if they are actually grey.

IredeusAgreed. I was confused thinking there was a gold option, but now I'm thinking that beige / gold is supposed to be "grey". Any chance we can get a better photo of the grey?
