I'm so frustrated by the inactivity auto-shut off. I wish there was an option for it to just stay connected and on even if it runs out of battery, because if nothing is playing for a few minutes, it automatically shuts off and disconnects. Whats worst is it uses a physical switch, so you have to switch off and on again to turn it back on. The switch is small and out of the way but it also makes it fragile and hard to manipulate. An on/off button would've worked a lot better, seeing how you will be spending most of your time switch it on and off.
I bought the original V1 and though it worked there was a awful buzz all of the time and the battery life seemed to be short I can't speak to the BE or the Gaming but the V1 is not worth the amount I spent on Amazon of $50 maybe $20 especially because the build quality felt like a dollar store toy
derzulyaSo information is a bit light on the manufacturer website. But the pro gaming model that is the base of the drop is APTX nonHD. There are some mentions in the reviews that it is mono only if using the mic but unclear if that is all models or just the v1
I have the Original V2 adapter, and I must say I am quite impressed with the sound quality on these guys. The sound, to me, is almost as good as being tethered with a cable. Battery life is great, consistently exceeding the spec life. I think I get over 8 hours of play per charge. I mostly used this at work, having them on and off throughout the day. I only had to charge this adapter once every 3-4 days. The only thing I don't like about this adapter is the build quality. For the price I paid (full price on Amazon), its total junk. The plastic is super flimsy and overall just feels like its going to fall apart if you look at it wrong. This hasn't been the case, thankfully. It just feels that way. I only used it for a few months on a daily basis though, and haven't actually been using it much lately, so YMMV as far as how sturdy it is....
I wish they would come out with the white version that they keep teasing, and even have a hold pay on Amazon for. My wife's been waiting for one that goes with her white headphones.
BillsburyDoughboyLooking at product pictures online, it looks like the WS1100is uses a 3.5mm-3.5mm connection, right? The M50x has a recessed 2.5mm jack, so probably not. You might be able to use a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter but it would stick out a lot.
