The Baldieri Magnum M-48 is a hefty timepiece you can knock around without worry. Sporty in appearance, the watch has a minimally styled dial with a date window slightly offset at 4 o’clock Read More
Got mine back in March 2020.
This design drew my attention, it is big, bold, simple sandwich dial layout & pretty good lume.
For that price, one gets a sapphire crystal, high beat with a solid case, keeps good time, Italian designed & wears great on wrist.
While it was left for 3 days in my drawer, winding it, adjusted the time & tried screwing it back but can't.
Found the fault lies in the crown.
Could anyone advice on how to have it fix.
Thanks.
Exactly like I thought it would be, big and bold and sits on my 9 1/2" wrist like it was made for it. Only issue is the date is very deeply recessed, and with very fine (thin) font is illegible - may as well not have the date at all. Otherwise an excellent watch for the price
A really well built watch. Great finish and attention to detail. The slightly domed crystal is a nice feature and makes for interesting reflections in the light etc. I also like the size, but I do have an 8” wrist.
Was ok until the strap broke after 24 days of wearing !
This watch is a pretty heavy piece of equipment - nearly 200 grams !
Decent specs, automatic movement, nice dial, good weight, sapphire lens...overall very pleased with the build.
What I am not so pleased about is that after wearing it for only 24 days, never for manual work and removing at night to go to bed, that the "flap" of leather holding the buckle on has opened and the buckle fallen off.
So while the strap looked good initially after several days of wear it appears to almost be "delaminating" near the hole on the strap that I buckle it. Then 24 days in the buckle falls off as I'm fastening it to my wrist one morning.
This flap of leather holding the buckle just appears to have been glued on (and not very well) - in my engineer's opinion it should have been stiched or at least had a stitch either side like the "pin" ends of the strap.
