I'm a fan of Ball watches, and this is a pretty great price, but do be aware, these things are huge! They measure large, but they "wear" even larger. The biggest reason to buy a Ball is the tritium luminescence, although you can get that for a fraction of the price on MB Microtek, Deep Blue and even sometimes on Luminox (although those watches die quickly). And assorted others. The other reasons to get a Ball are the legacy (they're the original railway brand) and the aggressive tool-like style that they actually live up to, meaning they look tough and they really are. But for reading in the dark and surviving a beating, a G-Shock will do you better. Which makes this more a vanity purchase, as an alternative to a dress watch. But it's just too big to wear with shirt cuffs. Def. a try before you buy sitch.

TCatI really like this watch but my wrists a very skinny. I usually can't go above 40 mm, although I do have a Zodiac Seadragon that's 44mm. I'll make an exception for dive watches.
