The Ball Engineer II Magneto S is a truly one-of-a-kind watch. It’s powered by a 25-jewel movement that can be viewed via the display caseback. This caseback is arguably the most charming feature. Why? It features an iris closure that completes the timepiece’s magnetic shielding. Twist the coin-edge bezel and watch as the iris recedes and advances—reminiscent of a James Bond intro sequence. On the flipside, the watch is armed with tritium tubes in the indexes and hands for legibility, plus a date window at 3 o’clock. Thanks to SpringLOCK technology—which prevents the movement from deviating during concussive contact—the watch can be worn during intense physical activity with confidence. It’s also water resistant to 100 meters and fitted with sapphire on both sides.
