Bronze Case, Super-Legible Styling Cues
Ball’s Engineer III is a slight departure from a traditional Ball aesthetic. Decked out with extra-large Arabic numerals and tritium illumination throughout the dial, it’s as easy to read as it gets. The large sword hands and needle-point seconds hand only add to the legibility. Inside the watch is Ball’s RR1102 movement, which offers a 38-power reserve. As opposed to a traditional stainless steel case, the Engineer III is made with bronze. Over time, as the case is exposed to air and oils from the skin, it will develop a natural patina. And though it’s made from a different material, it’s still water resistant to a solid 100 meters.
