Product Description
Since the late 19th century, Ball Watches and the American railroad industry have been in step with one another—so much so that the company’s motto is “The Official Railroad Standard Since 1891.” And with railroads and trains comes serious accuracy and precision, which you’ll find on full display in the Trainmaster Streamliner: a modestly sized dress watch backed by Ball’s own RR103 automatic movement. Featuring the company’s brilliant tritium illumination in the hands and in small indices at every hour, the Streamliner glows bright in dark conditions Read More
So what do you all want in a watch, just the lume? The most important thing in a watch is its movement and accuracy. If you all want just the lume‘s brightness, just buy Apple Watch; it’s brighter at night and more accurate too.
Ball USA is a very bad and cheap business I ever met.
I bought a pair of Ball as gift, four grand cash! In a store in LV. I head to airport from the store and found defect at the gate and called them right away.
The watch has visible manufacturing defects, the worse part is they refuse to take return.
In the whole process, the store and Ball USA just cannot be cheaper...
As seen here people' complaint, exactly the business is, lack of good management, quality does match the price, poor after sales service...
I will never give one penny business to them.
Massdrop, choose better product and good partner, do not select CHEAP!

just got an email and promo code sent to me fro JS for 200 off additional for a few of the models , i saw 599.99, which is really good for these watches, those prices and the code they're promoting are good till 7-1-18
How do we know if this is old stock or not? Who organises this drop? There also isn't information regarding warranty with Ball/ Massdrop etc. I know others have asked on the previous drop but no replies.
Surely we should be given a bit more information or whoever organises this drop should be available to answer some of these questions? It would be quite important factor in deciding to purchase...
I joined the last drop, and I have been very happy with my Ball Trainmaster Streamliner. I think it is a beautiful, well-made watch that is a bargain at the price. Here is why I say that:
1) The movement - although there was speculation that the movement used was an ETA 2824-2, it turns out on mine has a modified version of the Sellita SW200. I don't takes sides in the ETA/Sellita wars, but my Ball loses less than 2 seconds a day, a number that I am very happy with, although I don't know if others are seeing the same results.
2) The dial, case, and crystal - I have 6 3/4" inch wrists and this 39mm watch has great wrist presence for me. The AR coated sapphire crystal is top notch. The dial and handset are well-crafted and elegant. The case has sophisticated and dimensional polished and brushed surfaces unusual in my experience at this price point. I find the much maligned tritium is bright enough to get the job done. It certainly lacks the pizazz of freshly charged lume, but in the middle of the night my Ball is still readable when my Seiko Turtle SPR779 has gone dark.
3) The bracelet - The bracelet is comfortable and sophisticated. The links are all solid, w/ screws instead of pins, and "flow" (for lack of better term) over my wrist. The 2 "half links" are approximately 2/3rds the size of the full size links, which allowed me, after trial and error, to dial in a great fit. The lack of micro adjustment settings will be an issue for some, but I wear my bracelet loose-ish, so it is not an issue for me.
All in all, I am very happy with the watch especially at the price.
Edit
In response to requests for a lume shot, here is the best I could do. The picture was taken in the dark side by side with my relatively discharged Scurfa diver. I would describe the lume as faint, but readable in the dark. If you are expecting to be blown away by the lume, this is not the watch for you.
