Product delivered to my address (India) via DHL on 3 May, shipped on 12 April from US..
Paid $175 (product + shipping) + $70 (customs duty in India)
This is the best audio purchase I made till date coming from the background of having purchased audio gear like Shure SRH 840, Tin audio T2, Bose soundtrue ultra in ear, Bose soundsport in ear.
Bang & Olufsen obviously have a unique proprietary digital signal processor because you can distinctly hear the depth, richness, excitement and definition in the sound signature.

Every nuance is clean, clear and cuts through. The bass is not only powerful and tight but it doesn't overpower the mids & treble.
It's like I'm hearing a different version of all the songs that I hv heard before with other headphones..
My first Bang & Olufsen product and I can say it's really worth the money..
I'm happy about the purchase though I'm disappointed by my country's (India) customs duty charges ($70 for a $175 product ($160 price on Massdrop + $15 Shipping charges)
Thank you Massdrop for the product and for Shipping to India..
I'm satisfied and proud about my purchase..
WARNING:
This headset does not work with Skype or Skype for business, and is sketchy with streaming apps. It took four rounds of emails with their customer service to discover that the signal used by Skype and streaming apps isn't consistent with their proximity filter. Which means after a few minutes it shuts down. That's a total BUST as far as I'm concerned. I could have gotten some low-cost wireless BEATS and had perfect results. Shame on B&O!
NOW I GET WHY I EXPERIENCED THIS:
Bluetooth connectivity is sketchy at best, and that's a serious problem. It took several attempts to pair them to devices (I paired them to my mobile and two different laptops) and after they're paired, the connection is inconsistent. Even when actively listening, there are drop outs. That's an absolute bust. Worse, it fails to hold a connection when running certain apps, including Skype for business. That's another bust.
THAT SAID:
They sound really good, with very good detail and unexpectedly punchy low end. They look nice, feel comfortable, and are relatively easy to use.
BUT:
Every day I see countless people enjoying wireless headphones, all of which are much cheaper than these. They're smiling. I'm not.
It's just about Skype and similar apps, something about the particular kind of signal. It stays connected to music and video. The phone connection is stable for both voice and music/videos. I like their sound a lot, and so just use it wired if I'm on a conference call. It's still a very bad quality issue on their part.
ralevittI agree about the issue being bad. I guess it's just my ignorance on how bluetooth works, but I assumed it was a basic connection that a single stream of data is piped after conversion from the transmitter itself, so it's hard to wrap my mind around one program working while others have issues. Definitely something requiring more study. HOWEVER, the fact that the option to use them wired is fantastic since so few Bluetooth devices lack that kind of redundancy. Much, much better than not being able to use them at all given the quality otherwise.
Thanks for the reply!

I like the material they used. In terms of sound it's good but not great. Bonus having mobile app to customize; I wish it is available on desktops.
