Good for TV, laptop, tablets, phone, office and commute. Not for audiophiles.
They seem more like versatile noise-cancelling wireless headphones for all occasions than specifically headphones for gaming.
I have got them at a sale for 139$. For this price, they meet expectations, however I do not think they are worth much more than that.
For the record, even though I ordered the discounted headphones as new, my item came in a opened box with "pre-owned" sticker. The headphones themselves did not look used, and the cables were new.
Pros:
- look rather stylish, materials feel nice
- have sensor controls for volume and ANC; you can also tap the side discs on the cups for some functions
- 4 ways to connect to your devices: bluetooth, 3.5 mm headset jack, USB dongle, USB-C cable (also used for charging). When you use cable or dongle, your computer detects headphones as a separate audio device; no setup needed
- light on the head (though not exceptionally comfortable, they press a bit on your ears)
- noise cancelling works well and easy to control
- has microphones; you can use it as a headset with your phone or PC
- you can easily detach the earpads (however they are fixed to the round plastic frame together with the textile mesh that covers the speakers)
Cons:
- you cannot use the 3.5 mm jack when the battery is drained. It seems that the input from 3.5mm goes through internal processing so using it does not improve quality comparing to wireless.
- music quality is fine but not great; the bass is weak (however, I think they are good for casual listening when you are outside or commuting)
- switching between different modes and devices is confusing; two buttons and two colored LEDs do not provide a user-friendly experience. There is also a button on the USB dongle
- the mobile app often cannot connect to the headphones
- the user guide is minimalistic
- no Windows helper app, even though they are positioned as 'gaming' headset
- I thought they have some surround emulation for gaming, however I found Dolby Atmos app disappointing; it just adds a feel of expanded soundstage without precise positioning of sound (or maybe I could not figure out how to setup it correctly)
- the headphones do not seem to have any energy saving feature to switch off automatically when there is no sound input for a long time. I left them connected to Apple TV (which maintains bluetooth link even when it is off) and they stayed powered on all night long consuming the battery
- not foldable
