A1 Sound With an A+ Design
Back and better than ever, the Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 2nd Gen is a portable Bluetooth speaker that delivers in nearly every category. Being that it’s a B&O product, you can expect a truly high-tier design conceived by the brand’s celebrated designer, Cecilie Manz, using pearl-blasted anodized aluminum and top-grade moisture-resistant leather. On the inside, you’ll find an impressively large three-and-a-half inch main woofer that’s bolstered by 30 watts of Class D power. There’s also a single half-inch tweeter to add definition and sparkle to the sound. This all sits in a compact, puck-shaped speaker housing that judiciously uses all its chassis space for the woofer and tweeter inside. The whole thing is supported by IP67 construction to keep debris and water out, and brings with it up to 18 hours of playback on a single charge. B&O is also ensuring top-tier sound quality and wireless transmission, courtesy of Bluetooth 5.1 and Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive codec built right in. It all adds up to a truly top-tier listening experience, wherever you choose to take it.
Bang & Olufsen: Audiophile Elegance, Since 1925
Founded in a Danish farmhouse in the mid 1920s, Bang & Olufsen has its history in innovation and functional design—launching and popularizing the first-ever mass-produced radio that could plug into the wall and operate without a battery. Almost a full 100 years later, the brand has established a striking Scandinavian aesthetic that’s only outshined by the audiophile performance of its products. Possibly known best for their elegant, you-can-barely-tell-it’s-a-speaker devices, B&O brings their sense of craftsmanship and style to a number of categories, from multimedia systems to portable Bluetooth headphones, and beyond. And now, we’re bringing you a full collection of Bang & Olufsen to upgrade your listening experience—both audibly and visually.
