So because people don't know their states laws I get told no I can't have this? Massdrop you're not my keeper and as an active duty military member who could use this I now get to go spend $20 more on it. All because your lawyers didn't put a clause in your sing up process.

Hey everyone,
We got a bit of bad news recently. Due to the complexity of the law surrounding carbon fiber blades and the concerns of community members as to whether or not they will receive theirs, we're going to go ahead and close this drop down. Anyone who has joined will not be charged for anything.
If you are fortunate enough to live in a state that allows carbon fiber blades, I fully encourage swinging by Bastion's site and checking out the selection of cool items they carry. Thanks everyone for voting and supporting this drop, and sorry for the disappointment.

DuaneWeikumCould you make sure to email all the people that were on this drop notifying them that it was closed? I got no notification and just happened to swing by to check the status.

Way too many people sound like they may be going to prison soon & in need of self protection. Once you get to the Big House, ask for my cousin Guido, he will require payment for protection, it`s a PITA. Seriously though, this is an interesting blade, but how would you sharpen it?

The only reason to buy this is if you are trying to sneak weapons past metal detectors... why is this even available? Questionable morality.

IanCHI question the morality of not being able to protect yourself. This type of place will have a metal detector: http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/constitution/item/17571-supreme-court-justice-scalia-warns-of-u-s-internment-camps

the lightweight and rustproof qualities make this is a good shower item--especially prison showers.

"great for backpacking"
WTF, do you guys backpack in dark alleys in the middle of night or something? Literally the only feasible use for this knife would be in a self defense situation.
