Why does it seem like the lugs are screwed on like a cheap bulova and not lining up properly i take back the nice things i said about this watch in fact i got a bad feeiin about this one sarge
I love B&M, ans the design of this watch is, as expected, really nice.
But 45mm on what is essentially a dress watch? Even if it were 43 like some mention, I'd question that choice. Hope some thick wristed guys feel the need for such a thing, cause ***** you guys, I'm going home! :p
PS: on second looks yeah the GMT hand/nitro gauge looks a little silly, but the Avenger part in me can live with it. That date window is a mess though. The fact they used such a large case (my point number 1) probably isn't totally stranger to it!
i think they got the case size wrong... both reviews have it at 43mm, not 45mm. Not sure if that helps the people considering it? I still think it’s way overpriced, but then again I’m an Oris guy... but to each their own.
I wonder if this is b-stock. I don’t like how the date indicator looks. Seems like maybe too small of a date wheel was used. Overall design is a winner but this watch looks imperfect to me.
In both review articles the case and lugs look like one single piece with a smooth transition between them. In Drop's pics the lugs look like they were mounted on the case there's a little "bump" from case to lugs. I agree with @ED61 , it is very suspicious and perhaps indicative of a batch with QC issues.
This is an odd Baume & Mercier to feature. I own a nice B&M, this ain't it. B&M does gorgeous bracelets and faces for (some of) their watches. Reasonable quality finishes. But they don't do movements, and this is an ugly face on a strap. And the caseback is silly; it shows off how tiny the movement is relative to the case.
But... if this tickles your fancy, it's a really good price for it. B&M are mid-tier watches. The MSRP probably is about what it would have sold for at retail.
Unlike everyone else here the only thing I can see wrong with this watch is 45 mm other than that a blue dial dual time zone and a power reserve indicator from a simple module that doesn’t really work to hard on top of a great movement should be reliable a gmt and power reserve under 2k not bad if this was 42mm I’d give it a shot so maybe this proves i really am fucked up cause I like the design you guys got no taste
