Turn any pair of shoes into the warmest, comfiest pair you own with Bear Soles: full-length insoles made of natural Australian sheepskin. One of the softest kinds of sheepskin out there, it’s naturally temperature regulating, so your feet will stay warm in cold weather and won’t overheat when you’re indoors. The sheepskin creates a microclimate around your skin, working much like the insulation you might find in your home. And because it naturally repels the growth of fungus and bacteria, it promotes a healthy environment in your shoes. Each pair of insoles is complete with shock-absorbing foam to protect against hard surfaces, along with low-level arch support to help improve posture, alignment, and overpronation.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of sizes: D (men’s US 7.5–9), E (9.5–11), F (11.5–13), or G (13.5–15). To ensure you get the perfect fit, Bear Soles are designed to be trimmed to size and fit best after removing the manufacturer’s insoles from your shoes.
First, remove your current shoe insoles and place the manufacturer’s insole on top of the Bear Soles, making sure the backs of the heels are in line. If both insoles are the same length, you may not need to do any trimming. Otherwise, use a pen or marker to trace the outline of your old insole onto the foam underside of the Bear Soles. Be sure to trace and cut only along the foam underside of the Bear Soles, as the top fur layer may make this process more difficult. If necessary, use a pair of heavy-duty scissors to cut through the fur. Cut along the outsole of the traced line. Don’t worry if it’s too long, as you can always trim more later and shouldn’t cut away too much at a time. Trim, try on, then trim again. Put the trimmed Bear Soles inside your shoes and try them on. Test to make sure they fit comfortably. If the Bear Soles are bunching up toward the front, you may need to trim a bit more.
