Is there a springbar in there somewhere, or is the strap welded on to the watch?

Cloaca99.9% sure this is a spring bar. Can't see any manufacturer having a modern watch with non-replaceable strap. Other WW1s with similar lug design use a spring bar as well.

Unfortunately this is not that good of a deal to be honest as many as stated there are many cheaper offerings elsewhere not exactly great drop

That side pic doesn’t seem like it would be 14mm thick but maybe it’s just illusion I guess. I’d take an oris at this price. Good looking watch though
