I have been buying these on monoprice for around 200 but they have been sold out for a while now. I use these for office workers since the height is adjustable. Decent monitors for office use.
Good monitor. Color is great for a LED , the swivel and high adjustment are very nice, and the picture is sharper compared to my Acer G246HYL .
The only significant issue that I have is that when turning on the monitor, it will turn on, show display, then blink to black for about 5-10 seconds, and then it operates fine. It adds a few seconds to startup and it can get pretty annoying when you have a low monitor sleep time because it will blink to black every time you wake the monitor with an input. This seems to be a fairly common issue so please buy with this in mind.
Also if big, deep bezels bug you, you will probably want to look elsewhere.
celtyNeither does this monitor, though. Like plenty of gaming monitors, it's listed at 1ms. The issue is that this doesn't account for input lag, which puts even the best monitors at 9ms. This monitor, being LCD, displays images top-to-bottom, giving a lag time between when the signal is received and when the entire image is shown. This particular monitor has a real response time of 10ms due to that, which you can find more in-depth information about on DisplayLag.com. And while you can say all you want about TN being better, in terms of actual response time, the current fastest monitors in the world (9ms) are using IPS panels.
And while we're talking about savings, the ASUS MX239H is $164 on Amazon with Prime shipping. It has a stated response time of 5ms, which is worse than the BenQ one here, but a significantly lower input lag due to the panel itself (which is IPS), with a total response of 9ms. Which, if we're being such a stickler about milliseconds, is better than this particular drop, for $5 less, and 2 day shipping.
