ManyblinkinglightsWhat are your thoughts on how they seal? Good and tight? And does the seal seem like it will be durable over time?
I'm extremely impressed with the figuring on the ones you got. They look even better than the sample pics

KavikThe seal is a very pliable, soft silicone(?) skirty kinda almost jellyfish bell style ring, with a nice dry nongreasy feeling. The resistance when the lid is drawn off is pleasingly tactile and heavy, but not so stubborn you feel like you’re at risk of sucking the seal out of its seating. Not a comical kisspop, but a classier feeling, probably related to the matte texture of the seal, pairing well with the stone-heaviness of the lids themselves. I would consider the seal to be airtight and I have zero concerns about my food going stale. I really like the seal; other products have stiffer o-rings, that feel greasy and rubbery and grab unpleasantly. But these are like... the mechanical keyswitches of airtight kitchen jars... fun to manipulate, good hand-feel, etc.
Definitely turbocute and hella worth it. If I could think of any more things to put in them/had money rn I’d finish out my collection with one tall one, but alas, there was a buying limit when I got my five.

ManyblinkinglightsSadly, the tall one isn't available on this drop :-/
While awaiting your personal response, i did a little looking around online....seems the most common complaint about these was the lids not being airtight as they claim
They're still gorgeous, I just can't think of anything I want to put in them where I wouldn't be bothered if I got a weak seal

KavikThat’s weird, mine are all pretty robust. Though I don’t know how well they’d deal with greasy, crumby things like cookies. So far I get a solid thunk of pressure equalization whenever I take any of my lids off.

ManyblinkinglightsHmmmm, I'll still consider them...but maybe from somewhere with a good return policy for a couple bucks more
