Made to order in Brooklyn, New York, these rucksacks combine an old-school silhouette with materials that are anything but. They come in two styles: 10-ounce canvas from Fairfield Textile and 1000d Cordura nylon. Backed by more than 100 years of manufacturing experience, the canvas offers some measure of water resistance—though if you’re looking for more protection, you can go the extra mile with highly water-resistant Cordura. Both styles have assorted exterior pockets, plus a sleeve inside for a 15-inch laptop. Comfort-minded features include padded back support, 2-inch-wide automotive-grade shoulder straps, and a chest strap for when you’re carrying a heavier pack and need that added stability.
